My Dimes

Today I went to Castle Fun Park for the first time!  It was Maricar's 24th birthday and instead of our usual dinner+club...we did things a little differently this year :)  We've come to that age that clubbing is no longer a huge interest for us.  Mainly because we get lazy getting ready and we are out of there by midnight because we're SO FREAKING TIRED!!!!  I really don't know how people my age or older can still keep up with the weekly weekend parties.  I mean good for you if you're still going strong..

We started off our early day at Olive Garden in Langley for some lunch.  Super yums and I swear I could live off pasta.  I am the biggest carb junkie--holla!  After that we went straight to Abby and got our play cards for mini golf.  My parents didn't like us going to these kinda places when we were young cause they thought it was a huge waste of money.  It really is if you think about it...but I truly believe it's something every kid should try at least once.  I think the closest thing to CFP I went to was Chuckie Cheese.  Anyhow, like true fashion..I came in dead last!  OBVIOUSLY.  I am terrible when it comes to any type of sporting/gaming event and it's really no surprise since I have almost zero hand/eye coordination.  But that's okay, I had a really great time and it was nice to do something different.  I really hope this becomes an annual tradition..if not for Car's birthday than at least something we can do together.  It's really a treat nowadays when I can see my friends and we all get together. 

Even though we were a group of 12 girls back in HS, it has dwindled down to a core group of 5.  I love all my friends (ABSOLUTELY LOVE), but these 4 girls have seen it all with me for the past couple years--especially since we graduated.  The highs, the lows...from relationships, birthdays, late night stalks, the CRYING, the throw ups, boobs and other unmentionables, tears from laughing, E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.  We've been there for each other in every imaginable way possible and I can always count on them to give it to me straight.  I am so blessed.
