Last night was Christmas party #2! It was for Concord's annual party at the Four Seasons and had a ball! My parents weren't initially going to go since it's been a good 11 years of the "same" party for them but I managed to convince them! This year I decided not to buy any new dresses because I usually end up wearing them once then never again. It's a huge waste of money and lets be real here...it's like a wedding. We buy a beautiful dress only to wear it for a couple hours then get stashed in the back of our closets. Considering I went all out on presents this year I just chose dresses I've worn previously. For Michael's I wore the pink NU dress from last year's CP's party...and this year for CP I wore this black v neck dress from Le Chateau I got years ago when I was a skinny ass bitch.
This year instead of having live music CP opted for a photobooth type thing. I personally LOVE these things because everyone can just be silly and have fun! We took a couple of these photos and they're definitely going in our memory box. There wasn't anything too special about dinner..a la carte style...but man..I felt like I barely ate anything! I definitely think Fairmont did a better job with the quality and taste of the food but can't complain I guess. After dinner and dessert we had prize draws and I ended up winning $100 for Chapters!! Funny because I just ordered some books last week from there and was thinking how weird it'd be if I won this gift. And then I hear.. "Maggie Lee.."
