Blessed with: Covet sweater tunic, Work Custom jeans, Vince Camuto booties
Jeans....a SWEATER?! What kind of office is this!? But really...it's really a treat to be able to wear something more casual when I'm here in the office. When I'm feeling a bit lazy..this is something I'll throw on if I have zero appointments and don't have to see anyone that day. I feel very lucky!
I will say though..now that I'm looking at this photo..I wish I had paired this outfit with my Nine West pumps. The booties look a bit awkward with my jeans but I guess I will know better for next time. :p I picked up this super luxe sweater from Boudoir last week. It was either this one or a cropped knit sweater which would have looked KILLER with my Mackage Kenya. It shall be my next purchase.
I've really been into bracelets ever since I was a kid and I love how stacking has become such a big trend. The mix and match look gives any outfit a bit of edge if you're looking for some extra accessories.
Also, since it was Michael's Christmas party on the weekend I had to do my nails. Now I'm all about getting prim and proper...(love my pedi's!) but I refuse to put my fingernails into that kind of grooming. Fake nails scare me, especially when I hear horror stories of their fake nails breaking so bad it breaks their original nail too. UGH! And it just looks DAMN ugly when one of your nails have fallen off (and can't get an appt to fix it) but the rest of your nails are still intact. However, I'm not hating on those who go the fake nails route..it's just not my cup of tea.
Anyhow, back to the nail grooming. So since I am not a fan of fake nails I usually do my own. It saves money and it's not that hard to do once you get the hang of it. For mine I used:
1. OPI Nail Envy as a base coat
2. Essie's "Adore A Ball" as the pinky tone to the french
3. White sparkle polish I picked up from Hong kong
4. Essie's "Marshmallow" for the french tip
I will say though, try to do your nails at night. DO it after your bedtime routine (flossing, brushing your teeth, after your shower, drying your hair, washing your face, etc etc) or else there's a high chance you'll make a dent in your freshly painted nails. It's the worst thing EVER!!!!!!!

I've done my nails before at night, put them under cold water a few times, waited an hour...and i still woke up with duvet impressions -_-
ReplyDeletep.s. you make me feel like a bum. I wear sweats to the office...but I have gotten better =p
